About the position

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you’ll be responsible for identifying, reaching out, and engaging with new prospects across United States.

We are looking for SDRs who combine creativity with a bias for action to cut through the noise, stand out from the crowd, and bring our prospective customers together with our account executives to discuss their customer onboarding opportunities and challenges.

What will I be doing?

  • You will actively seek out new business opportunities through a variety of channels and establish credibility and value quickly to help us achieve the ultimate outcome we are seeking, which is meaningful conversations between our prospective customers and our Account Executives
  • You will uncover and qualify prospective customer needs, understand business processes, identify projects and determine requirements
  • You will be able to quickly research a company, identify opportunities, and strategize an approach to create interest for mid-market to enterprise-level companies
  • Demonstrate initiative, creativity, and your bias for action mentality to establish and execute an outreach rhythm based on tailored messaging and live engagement over the phone.
  • You will work alongside our Account Executive teams to strategise and generate value for potential customers
  • Maintain data accuracy and hygiene on the internal sales systems at all times

What skills and experience do I need?

  • Demonstrated ability to over-achieve
  • You are goal-oriented with strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
  • You are known for your tremendous work ethic, passion, and creativity
  • You enjoy learning new things including technology and can translate that into value for prospects
  • You’re curious, insightful, and perceptive and are always looking for an opportunity to learn, grow, and give/receive feedback
  • Desire to be in software sales or other customer-facing positions as a career progression
  • You are a results-oriented individual who is excited by the prospect of adding to the continued growth and success of Cobalt
